BOISE -- The mysterious mountain lion sighted near the Boise Greenbelt this week has been spotted again.
This time it was a Boise bike cop that saw the big cat.
Boise Police say a bicycle officer "caught a glimpse" of the cougar in a remote gravel area near 31st Street and Pleasanton Avenue around 9:30 a.m. Friday. The area is just off the Greenbelt, and close to the popular Boise Whitewater Park.
Boise Police say the animal quickly ran away, and a subsequent search turned up nothing.
If you see or hear a mountain lion, you're encouraged to slowly exit the area, and then call 911.
Mountain lions typically avoid people, but can be very aggressive.
