BOISE -- Boise State seniors Mitch Burroughs (offense) and J.C. Percy (defense) will captain the Fifth Annual Bronco Football Summer Classic softball game on Saturday, July 21.

The football players will compete in a softball game to raise money for the First Tee of Idaho, with all ticket and concession proceeds going directly to the non-profit organization.

Taking place at Memorial Stadium, the gates will open at 5 p.m.  The Home Run Derby will kick off the event at 5:45 p.m., and be followed by a six-inning softball game at 6:45 p.m.

Forty Bronco players (20 offensive and 20 defensive) will participate in the game.  Six will square off in the home run challenge, including junior quarterback and defending champion Joe Southwick.

General admission tickets are $5, with reserved seating available for $6 to $10 depending on location.  Also, a Family Pack is available for $20, which includes two adult tickets and up to four youth tickets.  Fans can pre-purchase tickets online at www.boisehawks.com or at the stadium box office the night of the game.

In addition, fans can buy raffle tickets for Bronco memorabilia, autographed items and game tickets for the upcoming season.  Players will also remain at the stadium until 9 p.m. to sign commemorative Bronco Football Summer Classic posters.
