BOISE -- The Boise Airport was closed Saturday night for several hours to incoming and outgoing flights due to a small private airplane blocking the only operational runway.
A statement from Boise Airport Director Rebecca Hupp says around 7:30 p.m., a general aviation airplane with two passengers missed the runway on landing.
The two passengers were not injured.
Boise Police says the airport opened around 11:15 p.m. after the plane was moved off the runway.
