IDAHO FALLS -- Brigham Young University-Idaho officials say the Rexburg school has enrolled a record 15,102 students this fall.

BYU-I news services manager Andy Cargal said Wednesday that's nearly 1,000 students above last fall's enrollment. The number of full-time equivalent students at BYU-I is 13,368, a 5.3 percent increase.

The Post Register reports that BYU-I was the only school in the state to see a significant enrollment increase.

Idaho State University in Pocatello reported an enrollment of 12,587, down eight students from last year. The University of Idaho in Moscow reported 12,302 students, up 10 from last year.

Boise State University's enrollment dropped 1.6 percent to 19,664, the first decline at the school since 2004.
