CALDWELL -- The second of three men Canyon County prosecutors say are responsible for a murder near Lake Lowell was sentenced to 30 years in prison today.

Twenty-five-year-old Christopher Duran will serve 30 years, with 15 fixed.

Duran pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting second-degree murder back in July.

He testified against Gregory Higgins -- the man charged with actually pulling the trigger to kill James Groat in August 2012.

Higgins was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison.
