MOUNTAIN HOME -- The Elmore County Sheriff's Office says a 68-year-old man has been found dead inside a submerged pickup truck.

Deputies found Russell Holsinger's truck in the water near the boat ramp at Cottonwood Campground in Owyhee County on Wednesday evening. Holsinger was reported missing on April 12.

Detectives with Elmore County, Owyhee County Deputies, and the Owyhee County Coroner's Office are conducting an investigation into the Holsinger's death.

An autopsy was performed on Holsinger's body Thursday but the cause of death is still undetermined, according to Owyhee County Coroner Aaron Tines. He says toxicology results are pending.

Family members say Holsinger suffered from diabetes and may not have had his medicine with him.

Foul play is not suspect, but the Owyhee County Sheriff's Office is interested in speaking with anyone who may have information about this case.
