BOISE - Big news on the bird watch in downtown Boise - the first of four peregrine falcon eggs hatched shortly after 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon.The next two came late Sunday and early Monday - leaving just one egg left to hatch.
The mother laid four eggs on Easter weekend in a nest at the top of the One Capital Center Building.
For the past several weeks, hundreds flocked to a Fiberpipe web cam perched just a few feet from the nest. The Internet company provided KTVB.COM with this video of the first hatching - you can watch a time lapsed version .
By early Sunday evening, the big falcon could be seen attending to the little falcon. The three hatchlings are spending its time keeping safe under the parent.
