BOISE -- A missing couple has been found safe and sound, according to family members and the Elmore County Sheriff.

Tiffany Kiramidjian, 25, and Greg Stenton, 26, left Boise Monday in a Jeep CJ5 and were headed to the remote town of Atlanta, Idaho, to visit relatives.

A family member later called deputies in Elmore County to report that they never arrived.

Search and rescue teams from Boise and Elmore County assembled at daybreak to see if they could find the couple.

Deputies say there have been a number of rock slides on the road between Arrowrock and Atlanta. The Atlanta Highway District has two snow plows working in the area to clear out the slides.

The family tells us they spent the night at a cabin along the way due to bad roads.

Deputies say the couple was reported to have plenty of blankets, food, water and winter clothing.
