TWIN FALLS -- Police believe a bank robber made an unusual getaway just before noon Tuesday after he held up a Zions Bank on Blue Lakes Boulevard in Twin Falls.

The man, who police describe as wearing a multi-colored outfit and driving an older, red dirtbike, allegedly used some sort of weapon to rob the bank, then possibly drove to the nearby Buzz Langdon Visitor Center near the Perrine Bridge.

Police say witnesses then reported seeing the man park his dirtbike and get inside a blue pickup and drive away.

Twin Falls police spokesman Josh Palmer told KTVB the getaway theory hasn't been confirmed, but that police officers are now looking for a blue pickup, possibly a Ford Ranger,  with the suspect inside.

Palmer says a weapon was used in the robbery, but nobody was hurt. They type of weapon used hasn't been released.

The suspect is described as mid-40s in age, about 6-feet tall, with medium build and brown hair. He was last seen wearing light-green shorts, a yellow long-sleeved shirt, and a black baseball cap with a yellow brim.

Police are said to be conducting a search near the visitor center, in the nearby canyon, and at the nearby mall.
