MIDDLETON -- One woman was killed in a crash on Interstate 84 early Tuesday morning.
The wreck happened at about 2:15 a.m. at milepost 18, near Oasis Road and the Sand Hollow exit.
According to Idaho State Police, a man was headed west on I-84 in a stolen Honda Civic when he drove off the right side of the road, overcorrected and lost control. The vehicle rolled, coming to a stop on its roof.
The car's passenger - Shanna A. Porras, 19, of Boise - died at the scene.
The driver - Anthony L. Villanueva, 23, of Caldwell - was taken by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
Porras and Villanueva weren't wearing seat belts, police say.
The crash blocked lanes for about three hours. ISP diverted traffic around the wreck at the Idaho 44 exit. All lanes of westbound I-84 have since been reopened.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
