VALE, Oregon -- There are many buildings in Vale that are on the National Register of Historic Places.

We took tours of a few of those buildings that are under renovation.

The Rex Theater is not on that list, but it is historic nonetheless.

The Vale Hotel was built in 1908.  The building has played host to a variety of different businesses throughout the years.  It is in the works of being restored.

The Opera House is also under restoration.  It was built in 1895.

The Stone House is one of the oldest buildings in Malheur County.  It was built in 1872.  It is now called The Rinehart Stone House Museum and is open to the public.
