BOISE -- Even though Barack Obama lost in Nevada today more than 100 supporters packed a local bar and grill to watch the numbers come in.

His supporters in Idaho still feel confident about their candidate.

Obama’s supporters came to watch what was a close race.

They very organized and feel confident Idaho will follow.

This campaign party at the Lift Bar and Grill in Boise is just one of several throughout the state showing support for the democratic presidential contender.

Supporters say Idaho is extremely important to Obama.

The group meets every time there is a caucus or primary to watch the results and support their candidate.

"Nevadans have never caucused before, we have no history to go by whatsoever, so we are all here rooting for Nevada, for Barack Obama, with our fingers crossed," said Kassie Cerami, Obama supporter.

In addition to Boise, Obama has offices in Pocatello, Coeur d' Alene and Idaho Falls.

Obama supporters are looking forward to Super Tuesday on Feb. 5th.

Idaho is one several western states holding the democratic caucuses.

Super Tuesday is usually done in late spring or early summer, so the change in date may help Idaho have a bigger role in the presidential decision.
