This time last year, the big lighted Christmas tree on top the US Bank Plaza building in Downtown Boise was still shining brightly each night. As each day passed, more and more questions about the tree flooded our inbox, as viewers and website users wondered why the tree was overstaying its Christmas welcome.
The phrase “I wonder” made it into the headline, and after noticing how popular the item was, we decided to make it a regular series. Now a year and nearly 50 stories later, I Wonder is one of the most popular features on KTVB.COM.
We’ve looked at a little bit of everything – from the Christmas tree, to the speed limit
on the I-184 Connector.
Some stories took a serious tone, like the item about the potential for security trouble from the new Statehouse skylights
. Others were silly and fun – like the tale of a Boise deli’s upside down sign
In coming weeks, find out how your recycling gets sorted, why deer cross the road, and where Ustick Rd. got its name.
We have a full rundown of all the questions answered here
Thanks for using KTVB.COM, and thanks for sending in your I Wonder story ideas!
