BSU engineer gets $1 million to work on wireless technology

BOISE - A Boise State University electrical engineer has received more than a million dollars in grant money to improve wireless communication systems.

Hani Mehrpouyan is a principal investigator on the project.

Wireless communication is in high demand among many industries and government agencies including the military and medical fields.

The National Science Foundation has awarded $12 million in grants to several individuals across the country to work on the project.
