About the program

Each week, Idaho's NewsChannel 7 and the United Dairymen of Idaho will highlight a distinguished student from SW Idaho. Doug Petcash will showcase one student's good works each Thursday during News at Ten - and you can find a complete archive of stories on KTVB.COM.

The winner will also recieve a plaque highlighting their achievement.

Each winner's school will be awarded a $100 scholarship for its general academic fund from the United Dairymen of Idaho - with one winner selected each year for a $5,000 scholarship.
