Suspect in bomb threat robbery found dead in jail

BOISE - The man police suspected of pretending to have a bomb while holding up a Boise convenience store killed himself Monday night.
Officers say Bradley Munroe, 19 of Melba robbed the Maverik store on Main Street at 27th Street Sunday night, and claimed to have a bomb.
Shortly after the robbery, police tracked down Munroe and took him to the Ada County Jail on a charge of robbery.
The Ada County Sheriff’s Office, which oversees the jail said Munroe was found alone in his cell last night unconscious and not breathing. They say he was found with a bed sheet around his neck.
Staff began CPR and called paramedics. Munroe was pronounced dead at a local hospital a short time later.
Police don’t think foul play is involved.
