Police seek driver in downtown Boise hit-and-run

BOISE -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a driver who took off after a wreck in downtown Boise earlier this week.

The crash happened at 12:50 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7 near the intersection of West Idaho Street and North 13th Street.

According to investigators, the suspect's car hit a parked vehicle, forcing it into the curb and causing significant damage. The culprit then drove away without leaving any contact information behind.

Police on Thursday released photos of a man who is believed to have information about the hit-and-run. Anyone who recognizes the man or has any information about the crash is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
