Police: Ontario woman arrested after stabbing man

ONTARIO - A woman was arrested Friday evening after she stabbed her significant other during a domestic altercation, police said.

20-year-old Mireya Almaraz Carrasco faces a charge of first-degree assault in the incident, which happened a little before 7 p.m. Friday at a home in the 700 block of North Oregon Street.

Police say the 21-year-old man, identified as Francisco Bobadilla, was taken to Saint Alphonsus hospital in Ontario by private vehicle, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Carrasco was booked into the Malheur County Jail, and is expected to make her first court appearance on Monday.
