Nampa Police investigating possible early morning shooting

NAMPA - Nampa Police are investigating a possible shooting that happened early Saturday morning.

Police responded at 3:36 a.m. to the 300 block of 12th Avenue South after getting reports of gun shots heard in the area.

Officers at the scene found a building and two cars that had been shot, but were unable to find who fired the shots.

A short time later, Nampa Police received a call from a local hospital advising them they were treating an adult male who was brought in with gunshot wounds.

The gunshot victim is a 32-year-old Nampa resident, there is no information at this time about his condition.

Nampa Police believe the Nampa man is connected to the shooting, and they continue to investigate the situation.
