Man stole jar of money raised for charity, Boise police say

BOISE - Boise police said a man walked into a convenience store early Monday morning and stole a jar containing hundreds of dollars raised for charity.

The theft happened around 3:30 a.m. at the Stinker store near State Street and Jennie Lane.

In surveillance video, a man is seen walking into the store, then he looks around before taking the donation jar and walking out.

The store estimates that there was at least $800 in the jar.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
