Man sought after Nampa shooting

NAMPA - Nampa police are looking for a man they want to question in connection with a shooting in Nampa.

Hector S. Martinez, 37, is being sought after the shooting, which happened around 3:36 a.m. November 12 in the 300 block of 12th Avenue Road.

Police found that a building and two cars had been shot, but couldn't find who fired the shots.

Police received a call a short time later that 32-year-old Nampa man was being treated at a local hospital for gunshot wounds.

Police on Tuesday asked for the public's help to find Martinez.

“Detectives have been trying to locate Hector Martinez, so far unsuccessfully, in order to question,” Lt. Eric Skoglund said in a news release. “At this time we want to question him about his involvement in this incident.”
