Hayden man charged in Bo Kirk murder

HAYDEN, Idaho – A Hayden man has been booked into the Kootenai County jail for second degree murder.

The Kootenai County Jail roster said David Hutto, 44, was arrested Friday around 7:00 p.m. at his home on Miles Avenue in Hayden. Officials confirmed Saturday afternoon that his arrest is part of the investigation into the murder of Bo Kirk.

Officials also happened to have served a search warrant at a home on that street Friday evening.

Authorities have not said whether or not  the search warrant is related to the Kirk murder investigation. Kirk was found dead in the Hayden Creek area of the Coeur d’Alene National Forest on Tuesday. He had been reported missing by his wife on Saturday after he did not return home from work.
