MOSCOW – A Moscow man wanted for absconding from his parole is back in police custody.
Authorities in Latah County arrested 25-year-old Stephen Edgeman Wednesday at a laundromat in Moscow. Police say he was wearing a long, black wig and armed with a knife. He was doing laundry at the time of his arrest.
The Idaho Department of Correction says Edgeman served time for grand theft and forgery convictions in Latah and Kootenai counties. He was declared a fugitive on Sept. 18 after failing to check in with his parole officer.
IDOC investigators say finding Edgeman was a priority because he allegedly made credible threats to kill law enforcement officers.
He could be headed back to prison if is parole is revoked.
