TWIN FALLS -- A 30-year-old Twin Falls man is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after a neighbor was beaten with a baseball bat, suffering a concussion.
The Times-News reports Jacob T. Freeman was charged Monday in 5th District Court.
Police responded at 10:30 p.m. Friday and found a blood-covered man regaining consciousness. Court records say the man had a concussion and had four teeth that were broken or knocked out. Officers said the man needed 13 stitches to close his upper lip and had bruises on his arms and ribs.
Officers say Freeman told them he heard the victim calling his girlfriend names and struck him until he was on the ground. He said he was afraid of the victim because of previous confrontations over Freeman's dog.
