BOISE -- A Texas man was in the Ada County Jail Friday after he was accused of hitting an officer.
Just after 5 p.m. Thursday, Jody Schultz, 26, of Mansfield, Texas was pulled over after a report of a reckless driver behind the wheel of a commercial semi-truck.
Schultz was pulled over on Interstate 84 near Linder.
During the traffic stop, Schultz struck an officer.
Schultz is charged with DUI, resisting officers and aggravated assault.
