BOISE -- The Garden City Police Department says a husband and wife duo have been arrested after they robbed the Walmart on State Street.
Police say 32-year-old Robby Hawkins and his wife 29-year-old Melanie Hawkins were approached by Loss Prevention employees while committing a theft Saturday afternoon.
When the Walmart employees tried to stop Robby, he pulled a knife on them. Police were then called to help.
Robby is being charged with robbery, while Melanie is being charged with burglary.
Police say they are transients from Tennessee.
Robby and Melanie are being held at the Ada County Jail and are scheduled to be arraigned Monday afternoon.
