BOISE -- Police in Boise are seeking more information from people who called Crime Stoppers with anonymous tips about the death of a woman whose body was found in her burning house on Randolph Drive on July 23.

Officials say they received several tips following the July 23 death of 74-year-old Phyllis Ward. An investigation determined she died of blunt force trauma prior to the fire.

Sgt. Mark Barnett said Friday that some of the anonymous messages are of interest to investigators and they are asking people to call and talk to detectives directly because they have follow-up questions. Detectives can be reached at 208-570-6290.
