BOISE -- The Boise Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened at the Chevron Gas Station in the 1400 block of West State Street Monday night.

Employees say around 10 p.m. the suspect, an adult male, entered the store and displayed a handgun as he demanded cash. He then left the store on foot with the money. He was last seen running north into an alleyway.

The suspect is described as a light skinned man, approximately 20 to 35 years old. He is about 6 feet tall with a medium to heavy build.

At the time of the robbery the suspect was wearing black shorts and a black t-shirt with a white logo. The suspect appeared to be wearing a black long sleeve undershirt. The man was also wearing a brown and white Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap and black gloves.

In one of the photos released by police, you can clearly see a store clerk laying on the floor with his hands folded behind his head at the suspect's feet.

The suspect had on black shoes with a white border. If you have any information on this crime you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
