Police asking public's help to find who took weapons from truck

BOISE -- Police are asking for the public's help to find a man who stole several weapons from a pick-up truck that was parked at a local apartment complex.

Boise Police say the incident happened on May 24 between midnight and 6:45 a.m. near North Maple Grove Road and Susan Drive, when someone broke into the locked pick-up and took several guns, magazines and ammunition.

Officers say from a security video the possible suspect is described as a male wearing a dark colored jacket with white and plaid shorts.

Police are also looking for a white, mid--90s Chevrolet S10 Blazer or GMC S-15 Jimmy that was seen leaving the area as the same time as the theft suspect.
