BOISE -- Police have charged a Boise woman with felony aggravated DUI after she allegedly struck and injured a motorcyclist Wednesday afternoon.
Officers say 21-year-old Kaylieha D. Nielsen hit the motorcyclist at approximately 2:35 p.m. after she failed to slow down while merging onto the I-84 connector from the Franklin exit in Boise.
Nielsen is accused of rear-ending the motorcyclist, who was later taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say Nielsen appeared to be intoxicated when questioned by police, and afterwards failed several field sobriety tests.
She's currently in the Ada County Jail.
