BOISE -- A 33-year-old Boise man was arrested and after police say they found him growing hallucinogenic mushrooms in his bathroom during a search on Wednesday.
Officers were reportedly helping Idaho Probation and Parole agents search the home of 33-year-old Craig J. Curtis when they found 19 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, along with "a small mushroom grow" in Curtis' bathroom.
Hallucinogenic, or Psilocybin mushrooms, as they're properly known, are often taken as a drug, and can cause hallucinations, panic, and paranoia.
Police say along with the mushrooms, they found a small amount of marijuana and other paraphernalia that implicated Curtis in the sale and trafficking of marijuana.
Curtis was booked at the Ada Count Jail on felony charges of of manufacture of a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor drug possession charges.
