MERIDIAN – A Meridian mom was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of child endangerment after police found her children running around naked and human feces in her house.
Meridian Police Lt. Scott Colaianni says officers were called to a home on the 2900 block of N. Fieldstone Way in Meridian. When they arrived they found family members struggling with 38-year-old Jennifer Bond in the street.
Officers were told that Bond's family showed up and found her children running around naked in the house while she was heavily intoxicated and had to wake her up.
A neighbor confirmed seeing the children running naked outside earlier in the day.
Officers say that Bond appeared intoxicated, with slurred speech and glassy eyes. Police also found the children without clothes on, and human feces on the floor, in a bath tub and on the clothes.
Bond was arrested and charged with two felony counts of child endangerment.
The children have been placed in the custody of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.
