BOISE -- A 30-year-old Boise man is in jail accused of felony assault after police say he threatened to kill another man with a machete after the two had an argument.
Police say the incident happened early Sunday morning on North Liberty Street at approximately 2:30 a.m. That's when 30-year-old Nicholas M. Anderson is accused of getting into a verbal argument and threatening to kill the victim.
Anderson is then accused of leaving the residence, and then returning with a machete and threatening to kill the man once more.
Police say the man felt concerned for his life, and called for help.
Officers found and arrested Anderson in a nearby home. He's currently in the Ada County Jail.
Police believe alcohol was a factor in this incident.
