TWIN FALLS -- A southern Idaho man charged with soliciting men to rape his wife has been released from jail on his own recognizance pending trial.

The Times-News reports the 32-year-old Twin Falls man was released from jail on Monday on condition that he seek treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder. The Associated Press is withholding his name to protect the alleged victim's identity.

Prosecutors say that without his wife's knowledge or consent, the man posted an ad on Craigslist posing as a woman who fantasized about being raped and wanted someone to carry out an attack. Prosecutors say two men broke into the woman's home on separate occasions, and that she fought one off and held the other at gunpoint until police arrived.

The case has not yet been set for trial.
