IDAHO FALLS -- An eastern Idaho judge has determined there is probable cause to charge a 22-year-old man with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a 21-year-old woman.

The Post Register reports that Magistrate Judge Gilman Gardner on Friday also included a deadly weapon enhancement in the charge against Adan A. Arroyo of Blackfoot.

Police say that on Jan. 19 Arroyo shot Kristy M. Aschliman four times and left her for dead on the side of Lincoln Road east of Ammon.

Witnesses testified that Arroyo chased Aschliman while shooting at her.

Clay White testified Aschliman fell to her knees and Arroyo came up to her and shot her in the head.

Arroyo is being held in the Bonneville County Jail without bond.
