BOISE -- Federal prosecutors say two men have been charged with transporting two southeast Idaho minors across state lines to engage in illegal sexual activity.

Twenty-eight-year-old Wayne Ginnis, of Seattle, Wash., pleaded not guilty Wednesday to a felony charge of transporting a minor in interstate commerce with intent to have sexual activity. Ginnis and 47-year-old James Ashley, of Augusta, Georgia, were indicted in August and are being held in Pocatello.

They are accused of buying two Pocatello teens bus tickets to California where they were to engage in sexual activity with other girls. The girls -- age 12 and 13 -- were intercepted by police in Utah and returned home. Investigators say the girls met the defendants on an Internet gaming site.

They face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
