POCATELLO, Idaho -- Authorities in Bannock County say a 51-year-old Idaho man who was shot and injured by deputies last month has died at a Pocatello hospital.
Dennis Allen Buzzell of McCammon died Thursday.
Deputies were called to his house on April 14 following reports of shots fired.
Deputies evacuated the area and called in a SWAT team. Investigators say Buzzell fired at officers surrounding his house.
Officers say after several hours of negotiation, Buzzell came out with a loaded gun, walked toward officers and refused orders to put the gun down. Two officers fired at Buzzell.
The Ada County prosecutor's office is reviewing the circumstances that led to the shooting.
