GARDEN CITY -- A police task force arrested 24-year-old Jeremy McCullough of Garden City on Thursday for charges of possessing sexually exploitative material, a felony.
According to Boise Police, the arrest was made through the efforts of the State of Idaho's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) in conjunction with the Boise and Garden City police departments, along with the Idaho Attorney General's Office.
Police say officers from the task force searched McCullough's personal computer on Thursday where they found multiple images of child pornography. Police also say the search came after a 9-month-long investigation into images of sexually exploitative material McCullough is believed to have downloaded during that period of time.
At this time, investigators have no evidence that the victims depicted in the materials are local. The investigation into this case continues. Further inquires into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
