COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho -- A former employee of Stimson Lumber Co. in Plummer has pleaded guilty to keeping $581,000 in payments for lumber sold to a business in Spokane, Wash.

The U.S. attorney's office says 32-year-old Trevor Mokry pleaded guilty Monday to aiding the transportation of stolen goods. Sentencing is set for July 16.

Prosecutors allege that between June 2007 and June 2011, Mokry sold lumber to the Spokane business without the permission or knowledge of Stimson and kept $581,445 the business paid for the lumber.

The government is seeking restitution.
