BOISE -- Six people were arrested in a suspected drug conspiracy that federal prosecutors say sought to distribute methamphetamine across southwestern Idaho.
Another five people were indicted in the case, announced Tuesday by U.S. Attorney Wendy J. Olson amid a multi-agency crackdown on an alleged meth ring centered in Nampa, Idaho.
Those arrested included Nampa residents Michelle Christina Ritch; Nearia "Nick" William Pinnell; Wendy Demirdjian Harrison; Daniel Eric Vaughan; Jermanie Ethan Mahler of Star; and Scott Vicente Hernandez of Oakland, Calif.
Others in the case were already in jail.
Meanwhile, one person, Juan Luis Mojica-Barragan, a Mexican national, is wanted on an outstanding warrant.
According to the federal grand jury indictment, the group sought to sell over 500 grams of methamphetamine.
Additional firearms charges are being levied against some of the defendants.
