BOISE -- An arrest has been made for the armed robbery of a Boise home on Friday afternoon.
Eagle Police have arrested a 46-year-old Duane W. Roche of Meridian, and said he faces felony charges of robbery, aggravated battery, and possession of a controlled substance.
Detectives believe Roche hit the homeowner so forcefully, that the victim suffered severe head trauma.
The victim also told police that Roche choked him to the point where he almost passed out while he was being robbed.
Authorities have also found the woman that was with Roche at the time of the robbery, but have not formally charged her or connected her to any part of the case.
Detectives are still looking for the third man that the victim said was part of the robbery.
As for the homeowner, police said he is in the hospital following the armed robbery and aggravated battery at a home in Eagle. They say that the man was badly hurt and taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Officials say the robbery happened just before 4 p.m. in a neighborhood east of Horseshoe Bend Road on Claudia Road.
The man told officers that four people he knew, three men and a woman, attacked and robbed him. Officers say the man said one of the men drove away with a pickup truck full of his stuff.
Just after 4 p.m. officers stopped a truck on Highway 44 near Short Road in Star to detain and question a man they believe was involved. They say the truck had several item that were reportedly taken from the Claudia Road home.
