UPDATE: The charges against Sims were dropped in November of 2012.
BOISE - Police officers say a 40-year-old Boise woman was likely intoxicated when she allegedly used a kitchen knife to make "stabbing motions" at a teen in a Boise home on West Fernwood Drive late Thursday night.
Witnesses told officers that Cambria L. Sims had become involved in an "ongoing dispute" with a teen boy, and that she threatened him with the knife at approximately 11 p.m. Thursday.
Officers who responded to the call say Sims appeared "very intoxicated," and did have access to a kitchen knife later recovered from the scene.
Officers and witnesses say the teen "feared he would be stabbed," but was able to leave the house before he was injured.
Sims was arrested and booked at the Ada County jail on one charge of felony aggravated assault.
