BOISE -- A Canyon County 3rd District judge has been arrested for driving under the influence.
According to the Ada County arrest logs, Meridian police picked up 61-year-old Renae Hoff, a current judge for Canyon County.
She was booked into the Ada County Jail just after 3:00 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.
Deputy Chief Tracy Basterrechea says Hoff was pulled over just before 1:30 Saturday morning for failing to maintain her lane.
Deputy Chief Basterrechea says when police pulled her over, they could smell alcohol on her and she had also failed her field sobriety test.
Her blood alcohol limit was over the legal limit of .08 percent.
