BOISE -- Officers say 29-year-old James P. Dixon of Eagle had drugs in plain sight along with a handgun hidden in hotel toilet when they arrested him near the 1000 block of North Curtis Road on Thursday.
According to Boise Police, Dixon was wanted on three seperate warrants out of Virginia connected with several crimes he allegedly committed there.
When police caught up to Dixon, they said they found 26 grams of marijuana and cash in plain sight, and afterwards found the handgun.
BPD says during the course of the investigation officers found evidence the Dixon was involved in drug trafficking.
Dixon was booked at the Ada County Jail on felony drug charges, felony possession of a firearm by a felon, and also his arrest warrants out of Virginia.
