BOISE -- You may soon pay more for water.
United Water is asking the Idaho Public Utilities Commission for what it calls "rate relief."
For the typical residential customer, their monthly bill would increase by $4.37.
United Water was last granted a rate increase in August of 2006.
The company says since then, it has spent $12 million to replace aging infrastructure, and operational costs have increased.
A copy of its proposal is available at www.unitedwater.com
