BOISE -- A warning about the Internet - beware of job seeking scams.
State and federal authorities are looking into at least two different scams where bogus checks were used.
Workers who responded to a job advertisement were told their account information was necessary for a direct deposit.
No deposits were ever made, but people were told to cash the fraudulent unemployment checks and send money.
The crooks either say the money is for employment services, or to pay back a payment that was sent in error.
