This Dodge pickup truck sustained severe damage after a rollover crash on I-84 Tuesday morning.
BOISE - Crews shut down a portion of Interstate 84 for several hours Tuesday morning, after a crash trapped a man in his vehicle – and sent another person to the hospital.
It happened at about 4:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes near New Plymouth, when a truck/trailer combo went into the median, over-corrected and rolled.
Theodore Fouts, 70 of Richton Park, IL, was trapped inside – and paramedics had to extricate him from the vehicle. Life Flight arrived on scene and took Fouts to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise for treatment
Another man – George Fouts, 42, of Belfair, WA, was taken by ambulance to Holy Rosary Medical Center in Ontario, Oregon, with injuries related to the crash.
The crash left debris from the trailer strewn across the freeway before crews could get it cleaned up and the road open again.
Police don’t think alcohol is a factor in the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
