Sabra Johnson held a dance workshop in Nampa this weekend for local teenager dancers.
NAMPA -- A famous face from the dance stage made a special trip to Nampa this weekend.
Sabra Johnson, the winner of Fox's hit show "So You Think You Can Dance," put on a workshop for teenage dancers.
"I like it a lot, she is very different from other choreographers, and her movement is unique and it's a good experience to be here," said Micaela Castillo, 16-year-old dancer from Nampa.
"She is a star to them, this show is huge to these kids and this is what they want to be," said Alexis Langworthy, director Studio C.
Participants paid $5 that will be used for scholarships for children who can't afford dance classes. The workshop raised $2,000.
Sabra also danced in the hit Disney movie, "High School Musical."More Local News
