SEATTLE -- Many of you who own an iPhone have probably wondered what the woman behind the voice of “Siri” looks like.
Wonder no more.
Her name is Susan Bennett. CNN reports the voice actor is from suburban Atlanta.
While Apple will not confirm the claim, CNN had an audio forensics expert do an analysis and said he is 100 percent certain Bennett’s voice and Siri’s voice are the same.
Bennett said in July 2005, she spent four hours per day making the voices for Siri, although she didn’t know at the time what the recordings would be used for. She found out in 2011 when the Siri voice was introduced with the iPhone 4S.
