BOISE -- Tamarack Resort near Donnelly plans a major auction of part of its property.
The Valley County Sheriff's Office has set an auction date for Tamarack's Village Plaza, which was going to be the "heart" of the resort community.
The Village Plaza, along with its unfinished buildings, will be auctioned off at the Valley County Courthouse on July 16 at 10 a.m.
An attorney for the Tamarack Municipal Association said a Valley County judge has issued five decrees of foreclosure, which means five different parts of the resort are ready for a sheriff's sale.
The sheriff has not set dates for any of the other parts of the resort yet.
Tamarack Resort was opened in 2003, suffered bankruptcy in 2008, and is currently going through foreclosure.
